Drama series based on the true story of Jessica Miler who left Australia in the 1920s seeking the excitement and challenge of a new life in London. She finds all this in the ex-RAF pilot Bill Lancaster and his dream to be the first to fly from Britain to Australia. This sweeping saga of adventure, jealousy and murder is centred around the passionate love affair between Jessica and Bill who fought against society to be together, but for whom ultimate happiness was not intended.
